ATXKId
Straigt forward question...........Does anyone know where to find 5mm thick straps that are not custom made? I have looked at just about all of the recommended web sites and wanted to know who may or may not have had a personal experience with such a buy. Ultimately I would like a black or black with white stitch 24/24 strap in calf or similar leather (5mm thickness of course). Any help appreciated. Mario Paci and Dirks are also pretty thick (and also pretty expensive). I have some of each. Wojecki is my personal favorite for the price. Estaban
wojtecki@gmail.com Don't mention you're from RWG. Just email him what you're looking for (color, stitch, length). I love his straps. Great deal. $70 for thick and rich leather. $85 with sewn-in buckle. Edited April 24, 2006 by Estaban
V
I don't think Wojtecki straps are 5mm (99% are 4mm)

Already received a response from Woj on 5mm straps (extremely quick by the way) Hi We have not made any straps that are thicker then 4mm becuse the leather we are using would make the strap to stiff. All our straps are between 3.5 and 3.9mm thick. Thank You Kindest Regards Wojtecki

ATXKId
FYI - email back from Don on 5mm straps Hi James, In 24 x 24 mm. Only have the historic models with dewn in buckles. F series are 70/110 mm and wear one hole smaller due to the buckle, so might only need one loop. Compensated for this in the R series which is 70/115 mm Both are the same 4 mm thickness. Don't want them to be too thick. Otherwise they just look odd. Let me know Thanks DON
V
My 5mm Metta... It may be a bit uncomfortable (as it is obvious with a 5mm strap) but it is not looking ODD.

madasboot
Hi ATXKId, Just go for a Vintage Leather from Watchinger (I have a 26/26mm from him and its an outstanding piece of work! Got another on the way but this time custom made for my 3646). You find him here, on ebay or on his site (www.Watchinger.de) Cheers, marco
kasigi
Wow, holy old thread bumpage, batman I've got a strap on order from HKTAN at the moment that I specified 5mm thickness. But it's going to be a huge strap so it should work K.
