cableguy
(similar to this but instead of sec @ 6, with sec@9) I was looking at Ubi's Franken Daytonas and both have the Seconds @ 9 Does anyone make a rep like that? or am I out of luck.... By-Tor
Well at least they used to. It's just the standard 7750 tricompax layout. Wrong subdial spacing and all. Ubis frankens have a genuine El Primero inside. I dunno if they make the secs at '9 Daytona with the new (and better) high beat 7750 though. Ask the dealers. alligoat
The pre 2000 Daytonas w/ the running seconds at 9 are still around. Silix has a few and even if they don't have the new 7750 w/ 28800 bph, I think they are still better than getting a Daytona w/ seconds at 6. Just realize that like w/ any asian 7750, you could be looking at a $200 service w/ ziggy sooner or later. But if you really like the watch, it's worth it IMO. Here's the two-tone- if the link works: http://www.silix-prime.com/product.asp?id=1344
