crystalcranium Posted August 14, 2007 Report Posted August 14, 2007 I can see the top of the button caught on the plate in the opening but not enough of it is there so I can go in with fine tweezers and grab it. Is it a total loss??? Anyone else do this gorilla job on a fine movement???
Dizzy Posted August 14, 2007 Report Posted August 14, 2007 i got it to pop back up once but it still wont grab the stem.. the damage has been done unless you luck out. Its about a $25 or $30 fix for a watch maker i believe. If you like the watch then its worth fixing.
ubiquitous Posted August 14, 2007 Report Posted August 14, 2007 Fairly easy fix. You'll have to remove the plate cover to the keyless works. Bazz did a phenominal tutorial on how to do this... If you have patience and the tools, you can do this job!

Second time out, I followed Joe and Bazz's tutorials. http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=25156 http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=9794
