I can see the top of the button caught on the plate in the opening but not enough of it is there so I can go in with fine tweezers and grab it. Is it a total loss??? Anyone else do this gorilla job on a fine movement???

i got it to pop back up once but it still wont grab the stem.. the damage has been done unless you luck out. Its about a $25 or $30 fix for a watch maker i believe. If you like the watch then its worth fixing.

Fairly easy fix. You'll have to remove the plate cover to the keyless works. Bazz did a phenominal tutorial on how to do this... If you have patience and the tools, you can do this job!

Me. First time out, I sent it off to Palpatine to fix. Second time out, I followed Joe and Bazz's tutorials.
