Nanuq
I ran across one on Ebay and placed a bid. I've been watching it for days... today at 45 minutes before auction end it was MINE for $20. And then it got ugly. In the last 15 seconds it went to $132 and change, and ended. Did I win? Not even close.
docblackrock
Assume we're talking c.1570 wheel here not some mythical overlay? Actually I picked up a silver flat 3 DW for a steal last year, think I paid
freddy333
Nanuq -- For perspective, I paid just under $100 for a NOS, round 3s white 3035 datewheel for my 16014, so a silver wheel for only a bit more seems like a steal. Sorry to hear you were not the lucky one who ended up with it.
kingkitesurf
Nanuq, This guy offers them for sale every two weeks or so. He is German. The same thing happened to me... had my sniper at 60 and went to 127 in the last seconds. I mailed the guy but never got a response... he is keeping them exclusive!!! They go for around that price every time... So I decided to buy the 20$ white from Wholesaleoutlet99... it sucks... doesn't fit the 1570 properly it is way to thin and sloppy. Now I stick with the gen gold that was on the 1570. It kinda looks mega good with the ivory markers on the white sea dweller with the chocolate faided gen insert... Ivory and chocolate go well.... Really exlusive... I never received compliments for Rolex until now...
