The Mentalist
Don't do it dude. Go TT. I bought a gold Daytona and that thing screams 'dealer', if you catch my drift. I also found that on more than one occasion I was mistaken for a 'Friend-of-Elton'. (Though I can't help thinking that was probably more to do with the chainmail codpiece I was wearing at the time). Toadtorrent
Don't do it dude. Go TT. I bought a gold Daytona and that thing screams 'dealer', if you catch my drift. BUT...if it matches the gold and studded teeth, and the diamond studded sunglasses...you can't go wrong.

Nightstroker
Its hard to pull off gold Rollies any way you slice it....TT or Solid K. Its not like you can just strap on a TT Rolie and pull it off in normal street clothes. The only way to do it is to wear the watch when you are dressed your best. In Las Vegas we go out to the finest clubs in town. When we do, I usually dress to the hilt.....all Italian [censored]....sometimes a nice suit like Hugo Boss or Armani....then you can get away with pulling off the Gold Datona, TT Sub or Breitling.....but when im headed out to the bar down the street....wearing jeans or whatever....I wont even bother with the TT....its a Sub or GMT on one of the other mid-end watches i own. In short, theres nothing wrong with getting the SG Rollie...you just have to know how to wear it....and in my opinion....the TT models scream replica anyway.....just like the DJs with diamond markers or diamond bezels... ChronoKing
Thanks for all the replies, guys. I'm still searching for the elusive wrist shot, I'd like to see one of these beauts in context. While I understand most of the opinions voiced, IMHO anyone who can pull off a Breitling Super Avenger, can pull off a full gold rollie /oh, and I am a rockingangstadealer Edited October 27, 2007 by amo

Just bought mine. Love it......but 2 things: -It is a little bit "wokky" in the rehaut -It does have a bit of that purplish hue You'll be so gangsta though that if someone call you out on your watch, just pop a cap in his a$$

EDIT: Pic borrowed from TTK thanx for the foto ! sir neils version looks awsome ! I KINDA like this deep blue dial that josh offers on his all gold sub , they should install that blue face on the tt sub as well , no trace of purple .. Corgi
I have Joshua's. Superb watch, I would absolutely recommend him. TTK has a much more artistic picture, sure, but I do not judge the book by its cover.
