ssabripo
When I got my SMP crono from Andrew, the bezel came off from poor glue. A good friend and member who's helped me here told me the prefered method is to use "Gorilla glue", which we did with success.....until this weekend. I went to the pool with the kids, and all was great. But after about 4 hours on the pool, I started to swim underwater and next thing I know the bezel is missing! so I looked for it and found it, but now I'm stuck trying to figure out what's the best way to glue this sucker in there. any ideas? geo1nah2a
Super glues don't hold well when it comes to metals and water. Take off the bezel (bezel and insert). Clean the residue from both parts. Get yourself an epoxy kit and glue the insert to the bezel. AFTER it has stabilised, put the assembled bezel back on the case. PS: If you decide to do it with out removing the bezel, be careful NOT to glue the insert to the case. (been there, done that...) Search the forum, there is already at least one more thread with more detailed answers. Good luck

Good luck Some good advice there, I would add that the best glue in the world wont hold if the surface is poorly prepaired. Its worth making sure you have thoroughly cleaned the mating surfaces and even gently "keying" the surfaces with fine wet and dry paper. This gives the glue or epoxy the best chance of taking a good strong grip. Good luck with it.
