The GMT is real, as has been confirmed by the rather immoral owner. The photographs were, as we suspected, deliberately deceiving.

NEVER buy a Rolex from a stranger unless you have the watch in one hand and the caseback in the other!!! ;) ;) ;)
Wise words but even then, doing some homework on the paperwork/serial with Rolex will ensure you sleep easier at night.....there's lot's of Frankens out there :whistling:

Then why would he f* up his GMT's lugs with sand paper, and put on a mis-aligned dial ? For a joke?

I think he has simply used the thread for some backwards 'validation.'
