Solidarity is a good thing. Euno - I am curious about the photos in your sig. You've probably already answered this but who are they of? I guess they would be from the 1920s or so? Watchmeister
I would have guessed the first picture was of Amelia Earhart. Am I right? Finepics, what took you so long?

I guess they would be from the 1920s or so? The pilot was my grandmother's brother... Shot down and killed. I have his journals. I look at it often. I stare at his photos that I have from time to time. His face, his eyes, they speak to me. Thanks for asking.

I guess they would be from the 1920s or so? @kruzer, I'm pretty sure that isn't Amelia Earhart, I know she wasn't a looker but that's a MAN for chrissakes - looks to me more like a Japanese flyboy from the '30s, maybe even a relative? Do tell Euno.... *edit - posted that before the man answered - sad story Euno, I have similar photos of my grandmother's brother, a tank commander, sadly now in grip of Alzheimer's and unfortunately cruelly reliving certain memories best forgotten* Edited March 18, 2006 by docblackrock
