Euno - I am curious about the photos in your sig. You've probably already answered this but who are they of? I guess they would be from the 1920s or so?

The pilot was my grandmother's brother... Shot down and killed. I have his journals. I look at it often. I stare at his photos that I have from time to time. His face, his eyes, they speak to me.

@kruzer, I'm pretty sure that isn't Amelia Earhart, I know she wasn't a looker but that's a MAN for chrissakes :lol: - looks to me more like a Japanese flyboy from the '30s, maybe even a relative? Do tell Euno....

*edit - posted that before the man answered - sad story Euno, I have similar photos of my grandmother's brother, a tank commander, sadly now in grip of Alzheimer's and unfortunately cruelly reliving certain memories best forgotten*

Thanks Euno - I sort of guessed they were relatives. He looks tall in that picture. I bet the cats look different now.
