Does titanium (i.e. for a case and bracelet) have more resistance to light scratches than stainless steel with a brushed finish. ta............ azgjav Posted May 22, 2006 Report Share Posted May 22, 2006 if u compare brushed ti with brushed ss..from my experience the brushed ti resists scuffs normal better than brushed ss, the titanium oxide coat protects it and any scuffs will be rendered invisible by the quick oxidation of ti. experts pls correct me if i'm wrong... p/s-the finish on my ti iwc gst chrono is indestructable...i can barely scratch it w my jeweler screwdriver..it's not brushed, more like sandblasted.. However, I have my eye on his Breitling Chrono Avenger (black dial) - in fact I reckon I'm going to order it in a day or two. When I get it look out for the photos!!!
