oswald
I got my Mom an ETA DJ around christmas and she says it stops every night. She says she winds it most mornings and wears it during the day. I can't hear the rotor wind when I swirl it but it seems OK otherwise. Anyone know what mov't these watches have? Any ideas?
bkatbamna
The ETA ones have a 2671 movement in them(usually) and they have a fairly good power reserve(around 36-40 hours). You might want to see exactly how long the power reserve in her watch is and if it is below that, send it to one of our repair people to look at. GhostfaceZX
If you can't hear the rotor, that may indicate a problem.. Your Mom may only be winding it a little in the morning, and if the rotor isn't helping wind more on her wrist, the watch could stop very quickly. I think that's the first thing you should check on. Where are you located?
