my new to me upo lite stops around 1130pm - 12:15am

1st my daytona I got used from someone, "runs perfect" but it stops all the time for me....cant even get it to run consistant for a few hours =(

now my new "used" upo lite..... it stops at around midnight....any ideas why? it runs fine all thru the day, but when it gets near 1130 PM ish it will stop.... must be something to do with the date change?

if The Zigmeister reads this, can this movement be serviced?

i'm so over buying "used, perfectly running!" watches from the for sale sections.

It could also be something as simple as the hands being slightly out of alignment and sticking at that point. If you gently tap the watch, will the second hand start moving again?

marty - thanks, but its not that.

its almost like when it gets to midnight the watch runs out of power to flip the date...but thats really the case because its wound more then enough...(it runs FINE for all of the other 23 hours, just that 30mins or so before the date change...) *shrug*

Could just be some dirt in the power train or spring barrel aking it a bit under powered? as it is a lite it is proberbly not woth sending it for service but you could just do a movement swap with a new movement they only cost [url=http://www.cousinsuk.com/default.aspx?disp=product&productid=463151]

FXrandy - is that the correct movement for the lite? will the correct date wheel fit along with the hands?
