removing cyclops...

Dizzy

Recommended Posts

now i know you can remove the cyclops on a saphire crystal just by heating it with a soldering iron and popping it off... what about on an acrylic crystal? Same thing? I know the soldering iron would melt the cyclops, but would it pop off just the same?

Reason i am asking is that i have a bunch of Clarks crystals for a 1680 but i need a crystal for my 5514 which of course is a non-date.

I figured i would ask before destroying one of them :)
