The parts:

Gen 16200 case, back, crystal, 18k white smooth bezel (sapphire)

Gen dial (I butchered the feet off )

Gen 18k crown 24-603-0

Gen jubilee bracelet (Mid 1960's, looking for a more recent version.)

ETA 2824-2 movement by atlantic with correct font datewheel

What I can make out of your watch looks nice. But I think either the original photo size was too small and it got distorted when you enlarged it, or it was too large and got distorted when you reduced it. I would try to resnap the picture (save as .jpg) at 800 pixels (wide) x600 pixels (high) and then do not resize. That is the optimal size for Web viewing and posting here (it should fit comfortably on most people's monitor screens).

I'll do that when I get some wrist shots. I have ny camera set and the 5.1 mp mark way too high for web viewing.

But the first pic is 90% of the finished product. Whaddya think? My first Franken ever!

Well, like I said, what I can see (not alot) looks nice. But I cannot make out any details beyond the basic shape. If you want comments, you will need to post some clearer and larger photos.

And your movement pic never materialized. Did you post it?

I cxannot upload any pictures regardless of size. It says I have used 2 mb of 2 mb and only 1,25k of space is allowed for a pic?

Any suggestions?
