sssurfer
Thanks, Vicky! Any chance you start posting pics in img format rather that url format? img format: url format: You get img format by copying the very last line of the several options that Imageshack offers you, and pasteing that line in the box that opens in your RWG post editor when you click the "Insert Image" button. That would make much easier for me to see your always interesting pics. Thanks!

Watchmeister
A combination of new "I want to be AP" priced original movement models and prices on ETA-based products moving up in USD due to our lame currency and here we are. But the good news is the used market here appears to be declining and now if you look a little virtually every model out for at least a year appears to be available. On one particular model I looked into retail was $8700 new, available from large dealer for $6,100 and purchasable privately for $5300. On another model I pursued retail is now $6200 new, available from large dealer for $5,300 and purchasable privately for $4,500. So Panerai watches are now much more available over here and the secondary market is not looking very different from any other watch. Desuetude
That is true, even as recently as 6 months ago you couldn't find most models selling for much less than their MSRP. Way inflated over other brands. Glad to see the market is stabilizing.
Guest watchbuff
Thanks V, now I know how many Beemer payments I have to skip for a gen. BTW the MSRP is INSANE, A friend who has the GMT bought it new for %k not the $8700 they are wishing for. Rich people shop smart and NEVER pay retail. That's how they stay rich. Victoria
woot radiomir 292 ceramic! $6k aint bad YES! I was stunned to see that actually, especially considering the HBBs. I think anything under $10k is doable for middle-class people, with saving and sacrifice, perhaps selling off lots of watches they have now. Anything above that...well, Hamburger Helper I was told is nice.

Is anyone else stunned the PAM 217 (we gotta find a nickname for it. Fiddy-Lefty? Eh) is STILL AVAILABLE?? And somehow "only" 11.5. I dunno, I just imagined it would be much more than that, and long since gone, like the Fiddy itself.
