I once saw a Panerai rep with a compass on the bezel....N E S W....but the E and W were on the wrong sides of the bezel...switched....how does a manufacturer overlook something like that.....oh ya....I forgot.....MADE IN CHINA I found the photo...you can see why they screwed it up....they couldnt decide which one was the W and which one was the E....so they just made a guess....
