Diceman
Just got my 6263 from you know who vj23 dead on arrival...so discouraged. I took case back off. First of all. how do you wind the vj23...i know it is clockwise but want to make sure im doing it right..about the movt. the chrono lever want hook onto the column wheel unless i push it slightly so it will "grab" on to it. I have to push it with my fingernail on the movt. itself..not with the chrono pusher. the watch is bad ass. i would wear it with out it working at all. I will follow up with pictures so i can describe in detail. Any options?
RWG Technical
I would say that your obvious option is to contact whoever "you know who" is? RG
freddy333
In the meantime, if there is a chance the movement is not fully-wound (and the chrono is running), that might explain why the watch is not working. Be sure the crown is in the winding position & give it 40 turns. Then see if it runs. If not, I agree with Ziggy -- contact the seller. bertieng
To get a perfectly working movement of this watch is purely by luck. The only long lasting solution is to swap for a gen. vj23 if you are willing to invest the money, but then other issues .... case size, hands etc. will start to pop out too which has been discussed in details in the Forum.
