ETA 2846

Am I correct that the 2846 doesn't equipped with hacking fucntion, or is it the one I have is defective? Can any experts here give some advice please?

all the ones I have seen do not hack, and according to the tech sheet, it was not built to hack.

I have an 1680 MBW from watchmaster which 2846 powered, it hacks. Also got an old datejust with an 2846 which also hacks.

According to Rranft it is not a hacking movement

Confirmed it is not hacking becasue I dissembled it and the hacking lever is missing.

I agree, the plain 2846 from eta is a non hacking movement, but some brands modded it to do have hacking function like:

hacking Tissot (click for link)

hacking Zeno (click for link)

It is therefor of no wonder that watchmaster filled my 1680 with a hacking Zeno movement.
