Pugwash
k2222 recently lent me his Ingenieur to review the AR coating he does. It arrived today. Well, it's like this ... I thought the crystal had fallen off in the post. Damn, this is going to be hard to photograph. Expect a full review with pictures and stuff, but if you're on the fence about getting it done, here's a sneak preview of the review: It's bloody good! I'm getting a couple of watches done as soon as I can spare the time to get the crystals out.

mezzanine
My offshore's going to be kickin' with a double-AR'd crystal. I haven't had a watch that I was so excited to see what double AR could do, but I've never had a watch with a dial as intricate as the AP ROO. Bazz
Although my crystals were not coated by k2222, I can say the of mine the Ingy had the most dramatic improvement.
HauteHippie
The Ingy does look great coated. The amazing disappearing crystal act is hard to photograph. But once you have it, it's tough to live without it. I'd say the Ingy and the VC Overseas are my two favorite AR'd crystals. The textured dials pop. One thing that'd be interesting to see commentary on, Pug, is how the pro AR coating compares to your SFSO's coating.
bwhitesox
And what tops the whole experience off is that K2222 is such a good guy to deal with...Very honest, straightup and reliable....oh and the AR coating is just amazing!! Pugwash
One thing that'd be interesting to see commentary on, Pug, is how the pro AR coating compares to your SFSO's coating. See, I think the AR on this Inge is better than that on the SFSO, but the SFSO is identical to the gen Breitling AR, so I can't really fault it. I'll be trying to do some tests, though, if I can work some out.
