space
Got another beauty for you: The mailman did a terrible job though... How do I get this watch opened, so I can glue on the nine o'clock subdial hand? I do not have any special tools, except small screwdrivers. I have to go in from the back right? How do I get the case open without special tools? I have to remove pushers and crown to get the "heart" out? How do I remove the crown/pushers? Would be great if you could give me some directions. retep
Perhaps it`s more wise to repair the watch by someone who knows what he is doing like a watchmaker? Like The Zigmeister said; If you have to ask you`re in over your head. The best advise; contact the dealer wich you bought from and explain what happened. Second best advise; read edge`s guide to do it yourself read here Edited May 31, 2006 by retep
space
Well... It has to be a first of everything, right? Think I will try it myself. How hard can it be? I'm not going to operate on the mechanics, just a hand...

vric
It's not an easy task when you don't have any special tool. Just opening the case back will be quite a challenge, then you have to remove the 3 stem (buttons), remove the dial, set the hand back.. you need different tool for every of those step. So, get it serviced and it will be solved, or ask the dealer, he might have a guy that repair them.. Don't try your skill on such a nice watch. space
Managed to fix it myself! Getting the hand straight without spilling glue (very very small amount!) was kind of a headache. The hardest part is actually getting the bracelet adjusted. Will post pictures of the result in the gallery later on. Tools used: -Scissors and tape to remove the back. -Tiny screwdriver to release the crown -Fingers and tweezers to get the movement out -tweezers, glue and a sharpened match to adjust the hand.
