Victoria
Snap my wife has the gen too! I have a photo of my younger dad, bent over his microscope, wearing a lab coat, and though he doesn't remember which watch it was, he tells me the watch he's wearing is an Omega. I like to think it's the Aqua Terra on black leather band! Looks very late 1960s. Funny that Mrs. Andy would have one too!
FxrAndy
We bought this one new just a couple of years ago, i also have a 69 seamaster that has had the lugs modded at some time to look like the Aqua Terra case. Although i love this watch it is just too small for me at 34mm these days, it was the first watch i fixed too. there is a topic somewere about it. jdavis
No worries about the quality of the strap on the Omega. It is genuine alligator with the Omega deployment clasp that is as good or better than most aftermarket offerings. Joshua offers several genuine reptile styles as options if you look at the Omega strap section.
