tmg Posted November 8, 2007 Report Share Posted November 8, 2007 EP, Can you tell us where/who you bought it from? That will help point you in a specific direction. If it's an MBW/MBK DRSD there is a lot you can do since they accept genuine parts. If it's one of the less expensive ones from the collectors/dealers on the forums here you will have more limited options. Also try a search under 1665 or DRSD, and in the upgrade and how-to areas you should find a wealth of info and inspiration there. BTW, welcome to the forums. Gen crystal #39 superdome (if you find it), shape CG's and vintagize case, adjust caseback, fit seals, drill lug holes and fit gen spring bars, gen crown and tube, gen insert, correct hands, aging dial and hands, create HE valve, fit gen bracelet and end pieces, fit slow beat movement or gen movement. Spend 5 minutes in the Rolex section and you will have a Doctoral dissertation on modding a DRSD.
