cableguy Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 I'm gonna need a good strap, anyone wanna point me in the right direction? I'm excited.
b16a2 Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 Nice on, you won't find much better in the way of watch and 'collector'. After having sold my Pam, I have just ordered the Fiddy from Angus, Im also very excited about getting a Pam into my collection again
Viennawatch Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 May you be saved by the devil of watch addiction!
cableguy Posted November 10, 2007 Author Report Posted November 10, 2007 oh i know...i have 6 other reps. this is just my 1st pam =)
cc Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 i favor Oem Pam Straps, Strap Culture, and Savage Straps.....
scoobs1971 Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 Most bang for the buck: The Watch Boys. Perfect fit and finish for around $125,-. Looks very similar to OEM straps for less money. http://stores.ebay.com/The-Watch-Boys-Stor...8QQftidZ2QQtZkm A less expensive alternative around $ 35,- would be BOB: http://www.waccex.de/catalog/index.php?language=en. The straps look great, but some people find them a bit 'plastic feeling'. I own several straps from both strap makers. In fact the strap on my pics in the other threads is the BOB caramel calf. Did you order a Swiss or Asian movement? If it's the Asian you need to check if the end of the Swanneck is not pushed over the dagger arm, which I had. It didn't affect the time keeping so far, but it's an easy fix.
cableguy Posted November 10, 2007 Author Report Posted November 10, 2007 asian. I will check it out when it gets here...thanks for the tip
Dizzy Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 awesome bro! I just got my 1st pam also from Angus and i love it. good choice on the asian movement.
piratedzeus Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 DO not get the croc grains frombob... they suck more than the rep strap-.
