jeroen1985
Hi all, Some months ago I posted some pictures of my Navitimer Serie Special that I bought in Turkey. With some help from K2222 I managed to get some great AR on this watch. And with some information how-to brush the case from Importr (Replica Watch Info) the watch became more genuine. THANK YOU GUYS!!!! I also put an ETA datewheel in this watch. First I show you guys a picture of the navitimer before the modding: After a couple of weeks I wanted a more genuine watch so I started modding. Here the pictures: Can you see the brushed surface? And a wristshot: What do you think? I'm very happy with the results. I know that you all are curious how much I spend on this project. Okay let's take a look: Watch: 200 euro AR: 38 euro Datewheel 5 euro Watchmaker 60 euro (installing crystal and movement cleaning) Total 303 euro / 443.93 dollars Edited November 18, 2007 by jeroen1985

By-Tor
Very beautiful! Serie Speciale is the nicest Navi hands down. I love the brushed case.
TWP
Excellent looking watch. The mods are incredible. You could not have picked a better watch to do this too!
jeroen1985
Thnx all for the great replys!! Brushing the case is very easy but it takes some time to get it done. A crystal with AR is so much better!!!
rocket754
top notch. The navitimer with the 12,9,6 set up is the way to go (no recessed datewheel)
italiano17771
that looks great!! the double Ar coated crystal adds so much to a watch. great job
ta8088
Wow! That looks great. Nice AR job who did it? And what date wheel did you swap in?
DWSmoot
Great mods and a classic watch! I brushed mine some 6 months ago and I love this watch. I need to get the AR and the ETA datewheel is a definate plus. Congrats!!!
jeroen1985
I put a ETA datewheel in the watch. It is also possible to get a Lello datewheel but in my opinion the money isn't worth it. If somebody needs help with modding please let me know. iceberg1459
I think it looked better before any modding..too much brushed finish gives a cheap look imo, but its still good tho.
Sweattdogg
Nice watch, nice mods

SubFrog
Stunning...one of my favorite watches...and on my wish list. I even liked it before the modding.
jeroen1985
The Navitimer Serie Special has always a brushed case!! It's a big flaw if you have a Serie Special with a chrome case. I think it looked better before any modding..too much brushed finish gives a cheap look imo, but its still good tho. than_talas
Incredible!!!! It's fantastic. I'll try to do something like that in my Serie Special (crystal + brushed) but I don't know how to brush it. Maybe in the nest double AR run, I'll send my crystal.
