Cant change avatar.

The old one will not die? Ive uploaded three different pics but seem to be stuck with the old one. Post Police, I used the search button and have tried a number things but its still not working.

Tony, click on Refresh on your browser. You'll see the new avatar. It's a cookie thing.

maybe the pic you wanna upload is larger that is prescribed...it should be max 150x150 in pixels and more than 150kb...

Not at all, Tony. I had the same problem and it took me a while to figure out too (well a few hours).

@Dadog: That is nominally correct, but the picture will be re-sized for you into avatar-sized standards. I've used 2MB pics which are enormous, and the system has still resized it for me.

I knew about the refresh button...I discovered it by myself and did post it in the post that tony put as a link...

didn't know that the system automatically resizes the pics...tnx for that info...
