Stephane
Patek Philippe Nautilus MBK Dear All, Here it is. The MBK Nautilus has arrived. About the deal Well it wasn't an easy time for TTK as you might know, nor for the buyers. I say it once again: TTK always delivers and honour his word. And here is the proof. Delivery Once he told me the watch was in stock again, it took not more than 10 days to be at my place. Should I review this watch? No. There are so fantastic reviews out there, why would I say the same. (Links at the bottom of this thread) I have only one thing to say though: I disagree with other owners about their love for it. This watch doesn't talk to me probably. I'm too Sea Dweller obsessed at the moment. Is it a quality watch? Well here I have to agree with every other owner: fantastic finish. This MBK blue dial is simply unbelievable. Everything from the CGs to the crown and bracelet, dial and hands is simply well done. Photo time Do I regret my purchase? Yes and no. Of course it's nice to hold such a nice watch in person. But, …as it arrived at the same moment as my two Noob Rolex…I wore it for a couple of hours only. My conclusion I'm happy that this incredible bad adventure that some of us shared with TTK is finishing well. Watch wise? Well I'm pretty sure I will not keep this one although it's probably the best copy I ever saw. That's all for now folks. Cheers Stephane Links to some great reviews and pictures. Ubi, yes Ubiquitous, original post. Eunomians review. Verbal Kint's thread Emuozz detailed review and research. Check it out, lots of information. Pix
Stephane, I'm very upset All the latest watches I loved have been judged unsufficient by you How about the screws quality ? Still interested in a comparison with my chinese thingie ? Or is it already sold ?
Stephane
Hi Pix, Sorry for that. I didn't mean to upset you at all Well the watch is not sold (firm) yet. Many questions and PMs though. If it doesn't go for what I ask, we can surely make a comparative review... EDIT: from what I see and feel, I'm sure the MBK will bury the chinese. It's true it's a stunning watch. Cheers Stephane

Bearcat
Don't the genuines have little round dots instead of the lines for the minute indices? It is a nice looking watch, but that flaw on the dial is pretty glaring. I think that you can find the gen here: http://www.patek.com/patek-philippe.html Trusty Andrew's reps have the ETA movement and the correct dial as show here: http://www.trustytime88.com/index.php?main...roducts_id=2007 But it does not say it is an MBK watch. --Doc Edited November 26, 2007 by Bearcat
Stephane
Well it sounds like these questions have been adressed before. The MBK is a mix and such are the genuines. You can even ask a certain ref with or without a second hand This is why these MBK are such looked after...many different combinations of the gen exist. chrgod
Great little review with fabulous pictures, Stephane! It sure looks like a true quality piece! Reminds me a bit of the Ingenieur, same Gerald Genta design.

FasTTaP
TTK is your man, look for him and install Skype to get in touch. Could be slow, but the only thing stopping from delivering your watch would be a heart attack.
