I have this 1570 movement and I want to put in a MBW 1680. I need to remove the stem to see what need to be done to make it fix on the MBW case.

Any help is much appreciated

i dont have any problems with mine : when i need to remove the stem on my 1570, i just pull it out and it comes

maybe you should post pics so we can see where is the problem ? :)

Not sure on the 1570, but looking at some pictures it would appear that maybe the rotor & plate that holds it on might have to be removed before you have access to the stem release (red arrow).

Thaks for the link and the pictures, I am still on the dark have no idea of how is done, as you know is a very expensive movement and do not want to ruin it.

I will try to PM The Zigmeister, he is always busy so I am not sure if he'll be able to help me

Now that I think about well, judging for those picture I am not sure that you will have to remove any parts in order to pull the stem out of the movement, it just does not make sense.

None of the other movements I have seen Asian or Swiss is necessary to do that.

I may be wrong anyway

thanks for the information I was able to release th stem is even easier than those eta movements, just loose that little srew and that is it.

P.D. By the way the movement fits in the 1680 case a little bit tight, the stem align perfectly with the movement once installed on the case.
