2. I'm none too happy about the pearl not being centred in the triangle. Can a Gen insert be installed? Is the insert the same as a standrd non-chrono SMP?

3. Is the caseback interchangeable with a Gen caseback?

2. yes the gen fits, the insert is the same but not the bezel which is thicker.

3. Yes for a SMP Pro, I think that's the same for the chrono.

I am just back from the watchsmith.

My SMP Chrono was tested 100m 330ft waterproof - even though the pusher are not screwable.

He only has got such a vacuum test device which goes to 100m, so the watch might even go deeper but 100m is good enough for me.

I had a cup of tea and we took the time to leave it in the vaccum...so it withstand abaout half an hour!

AND: there is only one place I have read about the screwed pushers. Maybe its a wrong info? But why would Omega put a fake "nut" (? hos is it calles?) on the pusher?

Pretty dumb for an AD - as he could have noticed a very obviuos flaw:

On the gen the pushers have to be unscrewed to be pushed - on the rep the lock nut is just fake.

That's utter bs. The pushers are "fixed" on the genuine as well. They do not screw.

This has been verified at least 10 times already <sigh>

I told a member that I'll put some pics of the rotor of my SMP, here they are.

Sorry for the bad quality, I took them with a webcam, but we can see that the mov and especially the rotor are very well replicated.

On the Rotor the caliber engraved is 3303.

I have one too.

Excellent rep and very classy.

I lubricated the ball race on the auto rotor on mine. It was a bit noisy. A few drops of Moebius Synt-A-Lube did the trick.

I've got all of the correct lubricants for the 7750 and I may service mine one day but I'd rather wait for it to develop a fault before I do.

Cheers,

Ian
