Richard Tracy Posted June 5, 2006 Report Posted June 5, 2006 I received this watch about nine months ago from another member who in turn received it from another...... What luck ! It's been one of my favorites of all time. Comparing it to a Gen on the right Upon opening,. I was suprised to find the Anti-Mag cover, but more thrilled to discover an eta 2824 movement that was decorated, held in place with a metal ring, but also attempted to imitate the modified 2892 movement that Omega called the 1120. Compared to the Gen Movement Below..... I can wear this beautiful piece dress or casual,... it never fails to satisfy,...Plus the lume last the whole night through.... only two reps can make that claim... this smp and my 196 7753. I believe this watch cemented my love of replicas ! Thanks for Viewing !
ryaku Posted June 5, 2006 Report Posted June 5, 2006 Very nice watch! It's a pity it's currently hard to find (current versions have many flaws).
bigpops Posted June 5, 2006 Report Posted June 5, 2006 Very nice. Rare to find one with correct hands these days. You might want to invest in some case clamps (they're only cheap), as your movement seems to be free to wobble around as it is currently.
jeff g Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 (edited) I couldn't agree more. Without doubt, my favorite watch. I agree with the comment about the 'Lume', even during the day, the hands glow a beautiful green, and in the dark the little pearl on the second hand is like a beacon in the night. As mentioned in a similar thread today...THE best...Daily Beater!!!!!! Edited June 6, 2006 by jeff g

Lastly, have you considered a gen crystal ? Will it fit ?

Lastly, have you considered a gen crystal ? Will it fit ? I did a brief breakdown in th Omega section, take a look. as FYI, a genuine crystal was installed onto this model, not without adhesive as it wont sit in properly. it wasn't cheap but i got most of them on a huge deal.
