watcher
I have the latest Omega SMP GMT from River but the crystal is horribly reflective. I've just been looking on Ofrei and they do quote for OEM OMEGA Antireflective crystals but by case numbers. Do any of our resident experts know if a). A swap is possible . Which one I would need to order. Thanks!
ob1w0n
nice crown, but what is with the 12 hour markers? they look corroded. As for the crystal swap, I would also be curious if a swap is possible.

marrickvilleboy
Actually, i've done a crystal swap for the 2254.5000 black SMP. I think on Ofrei's site, its the OME-062SA3008 Omega Anti-Reflective Sapphire Crystal $149USD. 2 thing you want to consider. 1. I had trouble installing it on my case, so i had to use Adhesive to make it fit. 2. You are better off getting a flat crystal for $10USD instead, it will eliminate the glare and distortion as its not domed. hope this helps

Would it be incorrect, to remove the crystal from the watch and then measure it from the open side or is this done from the top of the watch? zetterdawg
Can't you take the current crystal to an optician and have AR applied? THat might be cheaper (I think 80 $ roughly)
Glitch
Can't you take the current crystal to an optician and have AR applied? THat might be cheaper (I think 80 $ roughly) But it's a rep. By the time you factor in your additional costs you would have blown your budget. But that's just my $0.02.
watcher
I may have it AR coated yet. I'm having a go with my 187 crystal with a company here in the U.K. and will post results.

Pugwash
And that means what in English? It was a humorous comment about you taking the picture in what appears to be your toilet.
