offshore
Please advise- I see this advertised on the bay. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/OMEGA-DELUXE-SEAMAS...1QQcmdZViewItem Read pretty good until I saw it had 44 hours backup battery power??? WTF. Am I just uneducated? Is there such a thing? Or has a scammer just tripped over his own description? Offshore Edit to add- Just found another rip- read the Description of this Tag " Constellation" http://cgi.ebay.com.au/TAG-HEUER-PROFESSIO...1QQcmdZViewItem Talk about plagiarism, and cut and paste! offshore
Thanks- Thought I was right there- just didn't know if Omega had a new model that I and nobody else had heard of. Seemed a little "unusual" to say the least. Think it may be someone without an understanding of watches, taking " power reserve" to mean a battery backup! But I had never heard of it, and can't really see ( mechanically) how it would be done, although Seiko and the like are doing some pretty tricky stuff. The other one ( Tag) is a classic case of someone plagiarising another sellers text, without reading it! But it goes to show the things we face in buying from the bay! S'pose if it looks too good to be true........! Will move this to scams now!!! Offshore
