fivefive
Hi all, May I ask if anyone know how I can open a SFSO? basically there seems to be some dirt/dust on the dial itself and i wanna remove them... I've got the swiss 2824 SFSO black. Many thanks, five
b16a2
The back should twist off. Try soe marigolds, or some scrunched up duct tape, that usually does the job for me on other watches. Not sure if this will be harder to remove due to its water resistance rating.
Pugwash
I've opened a Steelfish with the one on the left, carefully:
Jawo
Try a pair of rubber diswashing gloves and use your palm or use 2 fingers to open. This is the handiest caseback opening tool around.
ajoesmith
My advice, if you dont know how to take the caseback off then you shouldnt attempt to remove any dust from the inside of the crystal. removing the caseback is the easy part, removing the dial and movement a little more difficult and everything else a little more difficult after that. By all means go for it but be careful!!!

P4GTR
Having a watchsmith do it right, and the piece of mind that go's along with it- ~$10 Having the watchsmith return the watch to you, and being completely impressed that it was a rep- priceless. Edit- Please dont take it to an AD. Edited December 26, 2007 by P4GTR
