eddiesham
Just wondering, what is a super rep and who sells these? (Any Links would be appreciated!) Best, Eddie
bazonkers
A super rep would be a rep that out of the box is so close to gen that it would be almost impossible to call out unless you were an expert in that watch like an AD. What did your searches of this site tell you about the dealers here? Did you check out the links for the dealers posted here already?
eddiesham
I'm just starting to search the board now for super rep's but I would be very interested in locating a dealer and seeing some pictures. If you've got any recommendations, please either PM or post. Thanks, Eddie
FxrAndy
One persons super rep may not be anothers! it is what you percieve some times, they all have faults but a small fault you could live with bay bug somone else and change his idear of that rep. Pugwash
Super Rep is a broad term that to some means one thing and to others another. There is no certification or line drawn where we can say a watch is or isn't super, however, it is widely agreed that the HBB (not the lite), the BCE and the SOSF are definitely super-reps. Some people put the TAG Aquaracer, the IWC 3717 and the Omega UPO in the category and some people even stretch it to the SSD for some reason, and others classify the MBK vintages as Super-reps. As you can see, there's a lot of wiggle-room.
