rolli
here is the pam 2533 vintage - an italian temptation, basic vintage pam with rolex dial from andrew. dial and hands from davidsen - reworked in aged style by me. new brevet crown + tube from davidsen - reworked and also the crown-shape reworked by my watchmaker. new 2,0mm lug wires formed by my watchmaker and fixed with laser-welding-technology by a local company. between the lugs are new thick springbars. -- the basic model has 1,8mm lug wires, 2,0mm is much better for the overall picture -- after finishing the case reworked in aged style and polished again. strap:

Your recent posts remind of that thread where someone asked us how much our reps would be worth if they were real--now you can truthfully answer "priceless." Victoria
The vintaging is SUPERB, Rolli. If you ever go into the professional modding business, let me know. I'll get you to do my dial. BTW: This background photo reminds me of Isabella Rosselli, or even Louise Brooks. One of those strangely modern-faced types, who look best in mannish clothes. rolli
hi m, the vintage database gives you many inspirations and new ideas for the vintage work. but you have to study the details and this several times before you get a trained eye. normally to copy a authenticity is not so easy. you need a very good taste for " less is more " rolli a true vintage look...
