mediawonk Posted January 19, 2008 Report Share Posted January 19, 2008 (edited) Is it possible to get a modern steel Daytona and stick a Paul Newman dial on it will all the sub dials line up? cuz I know different dealers sell different faces and sometimes the dials are too bunched up or too far apart. But if I got a real Daytona (modern) and sent it to someone like Jong would he be able to fit a classic old dial? Just to make it unique. and probably a rarity as the old dials are much nicer than those modern 'Hoops' for subdials what do you think?? P.S.I know the original dials were to fit a 37mm watch but people are making the bigger ones.? any one had this done before?
