reprep Posted February 9, 2008 Report Posted February 9, 2008 For any owners of MBK PP......Does the MBK version of the PP Nautilus Jumbo have a screw down crown?
Pix Posted February 9, 2008 Report Posted February 9, 2008 I remember to read from TTK that the gen doesn't have one either. My chinese version didn't. And finally, I also remember to read that the MBK has a normal crown.
Watchmeister Posted February 9, 2008 Report Posted February 9, 2008 What they said. I hope yours doesn't because the gen doesn't.
Corgi Posted February 9, 2008 Report Posted February 9, 2008 There are two types of crowns on the MBK Nautilus, and I have no clue how that happens, but it's pretty interesting. There is a longer one that sticks out a-la "vintage 70s and 80s Nautilus" that matches the rest of the watch more or less, and then there is the modern one which is quite shorter and does not stick out as much. The Chinese MBK-copy also has the short crown. The short one is more popular, and from what I've seen in the wrist shots, the longer one is more rare. Now, neither of the official MBK crowns screw down. Here are some photos to explain. Remember, both of these watches are (supposedly) MBK - so it is strange how they can have different crowns....
