mseanschmidt
Okay, good feedback and a lot of negative comments on my last two strap choices. I really appreciate you not allowing me to make NEWBIE mistakes on my first strap purchase! So, what do you think of this GeF from TC Strap? hiker01
Okay, good feedback and a lot of negative comments on my last two strap choices. I really appreciate you not allowing me to make NEWBIE mistakes on my first strap purchase! So, what do you think of this GeF from TC Strap? As I said before....I don't think the PAM 253 would go nicely with plain leather or light anything! Just my taste! But then again, since you seem to be into this type of color, who says you can't@! There's always a first.....buy it, put it on.... and see how you feel! Then you decide!
hiker01
That's a gorgeous strap~ Much improved... -MM I agree, nice strap.....wrong watch to put it on.....just my opinion!
Victoria
I agree, nice strap.....wrong watch to put it on.....just my opinion! I'm afraid I agree with that, Sean. The 253 needs a dark strap. Having said that, as V will tell you, that GeF La Spezia in Cognac is the same as used by the Xa-Mas Strapmasters site -- a legendary hide. The buckle is nice and CHUNKY. Very unique! You can check it out, third from left in the photo below: L to R: Taikonaut white Kangaroo; MF Hammered Brown Calf; GeF La Spezia Cognac; Kaktus Havanna Drifter; Simona Vintage Blue. (On the watches, L to R: Kaktus Black Calf; Mario Paci XIV Biscotto; OF Mario Paci Medici Tan)
Victoria
Sean, I'm sure you hit search, but I just remembered this thread from Reklamkillen: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...mp;#entry373024 That's a Bob Carbon. This is a gen 253 on a specially-made Manifatture Firenze strap (a lot more money but to-die-for).
mikellem
I agree, nice strap.....wrong watch to put it on.....just my opinion! Very True... This probably isn't the best choice for your Pam 253, except your taste is improving...;. I agree...Black Kevlar w/ white or blue stitching looks awsome... Maybe Victoria will lend you one! -MM
lanikai
My choice for the 253 would be the deployment gator .. black... I had to colour in the white thread .. but after trying all different shades of hide ..I settled on the alligator.. IMO really adds to the dial on this one.. solchitlins
Risky and odd but might turn out cool. http://repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=13537
jackyl
I'd go with a Europelli Broadband strap.
V
I have to agree with all the above members.. GREAT strap.. not for this watch. You need a black with blue stitching strap ...
