UPO tube/crown

Are there any mods that routinely fix the dreaded stripped crown/tube? I love my PO but never wear it anymore because I'm afraid I'll ruin it. Sucks too, b/c it's modded to teh gills. Superlume, gen hands, gen bracelet, gen rubber strap. the only thing I hadn't gotten around to was fixing the Omega logo on the dial.

Only thing is getting genuine crown and tube. You will need to make it fit however. I've had my PO for almost 1 year now and have yet to encounter any issues with the crown - just be gentle.

You can get the genuine Tube/crown from Ofrei .. but the tube needed to be glued in to the rep case.. Ziggy did mine.. I did it for preventive maintenance.. so I would not have a problem down the road.. the genuine parts are very affordable

whats the total cost of a tube/crown replacement/repair?

I got two sets of crowns and tubes for about $60 as I recall. The repair itself is fairly easy (once I found a proper adhesive).

Thanks all. Since my skills, or lack thereof, are pretty limited, I guess I'll inquire with The Zigmeister once he starts taking appointments again.
