pezzy
Hey guys, i'm having troubles trying to find some genuine leather straps. Help me find some readily available ones without going custom. Here are my conditions: - 20/18 or 20/20 (preferably curved end) - Dark Brown (matte) - Full genuine leather - Prefer Crocodile/Alligator pattern (but also open to smooth grain etc) - Buckle holes - Heavy/Thick padding - Preferably contrast stitching - Less than $150 Quite picky i know , but i'm sure someone here has been in the same shoes. I found one that is perfect from Dunthorp, but the padding is too thin Heres another nice one from Artisan. However its a tad expensive. dadog13
here you go...a litle bit over your budget (some crocos) but generally great quality... http://www.sirtoli.com/shopping.asp?eid=10...ificationID=701 (this are according to your specs - but there are a lot of other strap for your consideration) if you are not pleased what they have to offer...I'll have to pull out from the hat another great link for you... pezzy
yeah i've seen the ones from sirtoli. i don't mind paying that much, but the dark brown they have looks a shade too light for what i'm after. i'm after the really really dark brown (almost black). The Dunthorp link i posted is probably the lightest shade i'll consider. But thanks for the link, keep them coming people .

pezzy
haha thanks. i'll check them out now. will report back if i can't find anything that i want edit* Found a possible candidate from hadley roma. price is good, going to ask the seller the thickness of it. Theres also another really nice one from Tritone. But the price if way above my budget. i think i should consider the grain options as there are some really nice looking ones. i'm also going to change my preference of the finish to matte only. alt.watch.obsessive
Ebay. You can get NOS Omega, Piaget, Cartier, Vacheron, Perregaux, etc. straps at that price. Better than any aftermarket. Also search Camille Fournet. e.g. 380004238775
