  1. Not with respect to sales. Tourneau's sales records would confirm that. However EU sales may be different. Among luxury watch sales Rolex and Breitling lead the way Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. CV2014.FT6014 model which is 100mm water resistant (not represented on the TH web site).
  3. Try-- Strapped for Time--. Big selection and located in N. Carolina Can even phone and talk to Dave Helm who will be more than happy to help. 1-704-241-1277 Good luck. H.
  4. No doubt the PO 42 mm. Steady and reliable throughout 2007. When it comes to dependable --this is it.

    UPO - 42mm

Not a good match. Color of stitching clashes with orange insert. Check out Strappedfortime--I believe there is a black strap with orange stitching---better fit but not perfect. Good luck!

    UPO - 42mm

No question about it---black leather band (calf-very soft) much more comfortable and looks a helluva lot better. Deployent clasp a good addition. Same can be said for the 45mm PO.
  7. Thanx for the info. I actually had read your excellent review and was interested in the model you acquired not the newer rep altho I like the idea of a sapphire crystal . Appreciate your help. Any recs on dealers with the newer version if I can't hunt down the older one?
  8. Very much interested in this rep. Since it is not new its pluses and minuses have probably been well documented. Need input and recs from those with past experience particularly from whom watch should be purchased. Appreciate all info. Note: my own research did not allow for an informed decision. Thanx.
  9. May be ok for Seamaster but not for PO. Strap will not fit well at junction with case. Threads re this problem previously posted. Holes on this strap larger than strap for PO. Also says Seamaster not Planet Ocean on strap.
  10. Misunderstanding with the dealerTWA) He was unaware the straps were different and the situation has been amicably rectified. Clearly an honest mistake and I would not have any hesitation dealing with him again. His response was immediate and situation corrected. H.
  11. This was the reply: What do you think? H. it is made for the 42mm PO with the locator holes. Smp does not have the locator holes. my supplier sent it to me for a PO. he just happened to send the wrong width. have you tried it yet? I cannot comment until you have tried to put it on. both straps look very similar with out a 42mm PO in my hand i cannot say what will happen until
  12. You're right!!!! This is a SEAMASTER strap not for the PO.---Notch holes are rectangular and markings are "Omega" and "Seamaster". Have contacted TWA and await his respose. Hwrd
  13. Just purchased from TWA (Thumbnail watch assoc.) 20mm lug size wthe Omega logo on buckle. Great looking strap. Did it thru RWI. PM him and see if he has another. He ships from USA. Good luck. Hwrd
  14. You may be right about the vertical position but in my estimation the winder is of poor quality and not put together well. In fact quite shoddy!! I would look elsewhere even if it costs a little more. Unable to take pictures at this time, however will attempt to contact seller for more info and post a follow up thread.
  15. One is a RolexSub with SS bracelet and the other is an Omega PO (42mm) with SS bracelet. There is aremovable part (revolving platform) which fits into a "well". Cannot position the watch onto the removable portion on which the watch sits. Bracelet does not fit properly so replacing the platform to make contact with lower revolving part ("well") can't be done. This the best I can do to explain problem. The problem I think relates to 2 separate parts which do not fit properly when watch put on the revolving platform. Thanx for any and all help. Hwrd
  16. Can anyone help describe how the watch is positioned with this particular watch winder purchased on E bay. Does not fit properly. No Instructions provided. All help appreciated. Hwrd Link:http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=220094302798&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=012
  17. The big seconds sweeping hand is the chrono aspect. To stop press the upper pusher and then the lower pusher to reset. To start process (chrono) remember upper pusher to start and stop---lower pusher to reset. Great watch---I have one myself.
  18. Anonymity works for me . Clearly the way to go. WU looks good. Discretion in this case definitely required.
  19. Certainly good news but does not address the cannon pinion issue. Font and date reasonable issues to improve but the cannon pins are first line concerns and should be included in any plans for improvement. A reply would be appreciated.
  20. Please compare ETA 2893-2 (auto) and Swiss Unitas 6497 (manuel) with respect to "smoothness" and reliability for daily use. All comments welcome!
  21. Too good to be true--hoping otherwise
  22. Great looking watch. Was this obtained from any of our dealers? Exceptional quality.
  23. Is it recommended to have the Omega SMP chrono (new version Asia7750) immediately serviced prior to use?? Also would it be feasible to exchange with a 7750 ETA or too expensive. Does it make any sense?? All advice welcomed. Thanx.
