I was wearing my MBW, so I compared the cases. The gen had a way shallower rehaut on it, closer to the noobmariner actually. Is the deep rehaut thing a rumor/myth/whatever like the 2.5x magnification? Or is maybe the 14060 shallower than the date versions? Oh, and BTW, they wanted 4600 for it and it's 5 years old. alligoat Posted April 1, 2008 Report Share Posted April 1, 2008 The 14060 is a different case which explains the shallower rehaut- no date feature makes for a thinner movement- I believe it's a 3130 movt. Also, it takes a different bezel insert, as I recall. You should be able to pick up one for around $3K, or at least you used to be able to- Rolex prices are going up as we speak because of the weak dollar.
