chronology1066 Posted April 9, 2008 Author Report Posted April 9, 2008 Got that, already filled in the form just got to send it off. I just find it odd the number of caveats they have on transport of goods.
musicale Posted April 9, 2008 Report Posted April 9, 2008 It does make you wonder about eggs... although presumably you have people transporting rare or collectible eggs.
Mickey Padge Posted April 9, 2008 Report Posted April 9, 2008 It does make you wonder about eggs... although presumably you have people transporting rare or collectible eggs. I suppose it depends how you wrap them up. Best to keep them in the original packaging......... Hens
chronology1066 Posted April 9, 2008 Author Report Posted April 9, 2008 I remember when I was living in Holland and was applying for a lease on some property, one of the questions was do you keep chickens....... Crazy Dutch Chicken Posters
Homer Posted April 9, 2008 Report Posted April 9, 2008 if you are sending reps. you cant use DHL/UPS (interparcel).
Mickey Padge Posted April 9, 2008 Report Posted April 9, 2008 Well with reps they should not be heavier than the Royal Mail 2kg limit, so registered post wins all the time.... Interparcel have more options than DHL/UPS though, and depending on where you are sending (within EU) you should still be OK, but why bother when Royal Mail can get to it's destination within 10 days from UK to China and maybe 3-4 days within the EU?
capice Posted April 9, 2008 Report Posted April 9, 2008 Got a variety of packages from the UK, all delivered in about 5-7 days
Homer Posted April 10, 2008 Report Posted April 10, 2008 (edited) Interparcel have more options than DHL/UPS though, he's sending to Thailand. DHL/UPS only. i would recommend neither for sending reps. from UK. Ive also had watches nabbed by DHL going from UK > Italy. Edited April 10, 2008 by Homer
