how to remove this bezel ?

I don't think the screws have anything to do with the bezel staying in place. You have to get a caseback opening knife or something similar and have to slide it in between the bezel and the case, very carefully, and "pop" off the bezel. Be very careful not to cut off a finger or ruin your watch. Good luck.

Yea, I agree here, the screws on the Avenger are basically the same, as on all rep Breits., just cosmetic.

I have a Heritage on the bench now , awaiting the same thing.

Bezel removal on reps ,seems to be be difficult for everyone . (they are really tightly pressed on )

I really can visualise that knife slipping, and almost removing a finger or thumb, that`s why I , am also waiting.

The buggered/mutilated watch is also not far away, if I went down this path.

Hopefully someone may offer some assistance to us.

Well I have gotten my hands on a rep Super Avenger and I took the shinny new bezel off of it. The thing is the spring/clip thing flew off into outerspace and I can't find it. I did it with a caseback opening knife and it was pretty easy. Just make sure to be careful and use pressure all along the entire circumference of the bezel and not in just one area. Apply some opening pressure to one area, move on to another and do the same. Do this all along the outer rim of the bezel and it should pop off easily. It did for me. Good luck guys.

I use a sharp axe to remove my bezels :Jumpy:

But it's easy to miss on your first swing. Try, try again!

Nanuq -- No one can ever accuse you of using Rube Goldberg methods in your watchsmithing. But I doubt that many of us will be asking to borrow any of your tools. ;)
