well the search feature isn't working - so i thought i'd post a query.

found this rep of the 2003 special edition pam163 at trusty's

lemania / venus movement

have my heart set on it - does anyone have any experience with this rep?

Notice that the rep doesn't have a date window, while the gen does... but it still looks great.

thanks.

I have had one or a similar one, but sold it as it was never bought as a keeper, mine did not have a screw down crown, but apart from that was a nice watch, it is still going strong on thew wrist of a mate of mine, no problems. One point these are quite small @ 40-41ish mm for a pam.

PS got mine from homer @ a very good price.

Had a 204 just sold it. Have a bit of regret. They are very good watches and should appreciate as they are soon to be no more. They are very similar to gens.

Grab one whilst you can

I have a 147 -- similar to the 163, but with a 3rd subdial (actually just linked to the hour hand).

It is still running well after about two years, chrono included. But I am not using it as a daily beater, rather only on special occasions.

An absolute Tank of a watch. Mine has been my weekend work around the house watch for 3 1/2 years--absolutely beat to hell but still keeping great time. It is also pretty accurate except for one huge flaw--the gen has a date.
