tyromee Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 A beautiful watch. How do I go about getting in touch with Andrew to get one? Tyrome
tyromee Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 Nevermind found it. Will have one on the way shortly. Rome
hackR Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 congrats on this watch...and great pictures...thanks for sharing... this reminds me of my white dial Navi GMT in size...although, this Bentley dial looks more white - my white dial GMT is more antique white... here's my pix of my white dial Navi GMT: Navi GMT pix if you decide to experiment with leather straps, would love to see updated pix...my white dial Navi GMT is on a brown Gunny Mona strap that really gives my watch an earthy, yet totally classy, appeal... enjoy it! JPBFB Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 Is Andrew's site Trusty's? I am confused! :S
Thenaven@aol.com Posted February 3, 2010 Report Posted February 3, 2010 I love this watch, I just wish I could find any rep that has the accurate dials. Every rep I see had the dials switched. If anyone finds a blue face with accurate dials I would be forever grateful. Despite all that, nice watch. Naven
plaifender Posted February 3, 2010 Report Posted February 3, 2010 blast from the past! yeah, the dials are not accurate. but it's a beauty. Not sure if there have been any new versions released since this post.. but maybe some breitling experts will chime in...... Bikemike or someone else might have an idea...
blazer119 Posted February 12, 2011 Report Posted February 12, 2011 Does anyone know where I can get a comprehensive guide to the slide rule / chronometer functions for this particular watch (or a general one that applies to all similar Breitlings)? I just got mine and am really anxious to learn how to use it....no luck finding official manuals on the net. Thanks.
plaifender Posted February 12, 2011 Report Posted February 12, 2011 A manual on how to use the chronometer? The top button starts and stops the chronometer, the bottom button resets it when it's stopped.
maxman Posted February 12, 2011 Report Posted February 12, 2011 A manual on how to use the chronometer? The top button starts and stops the chronometer, the bottom button resets it when it's stopped. I think he's refering to the slide rule calculations,I hear directions on how to use this function are hard to find.
plaifender Posted February 12, 2011 Report Posted February 12, 2011 I think he's refering to the slide rule calculations,I hear directions on how to use this function are hard to find. AHH.. i see. Thanks for clearing that up Max This should help with the slide rule:
blazer119 Posted February 12, 2011 Report Posted February 12, 2011 AHH.. i see. Thanks for clearing that up Max This should help with the slide rule: Thanks for the help guys. I found this scanned guide from 1967! http://www.breitlingsource.com/articles_slide_rule.shtml
pabler Posted February 12, 2011 Report Posted February 12, 2011 I think By-Tor did a review on that slide rule. Have the same one in blue, an really gets a lot of attention. Only really big flaw for me is the sunken DW.
maxman Posted February 12, 2011 Report Posted February 12, 2011 AHH.. i see. Thanks for clearing that up Max This should help with the slide rule: Indeed it does
