Martyd3 Posted May 15, 2008 Report Share Posted May 15, 2008 When modding the SSD CG's, do you just need to thin the inside of the CG (the crown side) or do both the inside and outside need to be done? I'm of the opinion that the SSD is very difficult to make correct relative to (say) a noob sub. The problem is that the tip of the CG is so close to the crown that if you trim it away it will be too thin and you lose to much curvature when viewed from the side.
