Hi Ryaku... what aquatimer do you mean? I think the previous model Aquatimer that was repped was from the GST line and came in steel only (as rep). I think that one had an ETA2836 movement. The new Aquatimer is available as chronograph and thus has an asian 7750...

As far as i know. there are no ETA2824 Aquatimer replicas...

Exactly, the GST line non chrono.

It wears similar to GST Ti, about the same as a Submariner. This watch is IMHO not very accurate at all but my movement has been running very strong (... but the crown tube broke sometimes ago).

True Take, it's not accurate at all (diameter first of all) but it's a nice watch.

Damn it, those tubes/crowns are a disaster.

Sorry ryaku, I have been looking for my wrist shot. Can't find one (it was soooooooo long ago) and I seriously didn't wear this watch a lot. Gave it to my brother and the crown tube was broken.

The GST Ti Chrono is a way way above more superior rep than this watch. My suggestion: forget this model... you have many other watches worth buying.

Well... The problem is not only that. Rehaut is totally wrong, crystal thickness is wrong, dial is not accurate (crooked marker at 12), bad lume, wrong datefont, bad pearl, bad painting on the bezel, wrong bezel construction, etc. Too many things which spoil the enjoyment of wearing this watch and to me, it's an insult to the gen watch (which is a SUPERB and solidly built watch).

The genuine GST Aquatimer is a super watch and I don't imagine it will ever be repped properly, which is a real pity because with a Swiss ETA it could be another SOSF in terms of accuracy and reliability. Unfortunately there seemed to be a view on the rep forum that the genuine was only available in Ti and the rep was critised for being SS and thus inaccurate, but this wasn't true. My friend has a gen SS version and I really admire it. So much nicer and more exclusive than a Sub.

@PAMman: I agree that the rep is only in SS for this model and there exists gen version in SS but nonetheless, the rep is totally wrong. Some more reference pictures here. Many members have discussed this watch extensively:

Nice watch, the bezel color could be a little better. And I wish that it was sized 1:1 but the rep is smaller then OEM. I bought a genuine rubber strap but it's too big for the rep.
