seadweller3 Posted June 26, 2008 Report Posted June 26, 2008 I'll post some scans once it arrives. I owned one a couple years back and sold it to fund a gen PO. I actually prefer the SMP to the PO and feel it is one of the best preowned bargains for the money.

That watch is a future classic for sure and in my view, is going to start increasing in value at some point. I wear a SS Sub, but I'm still not selling my 2254.50.
casanile Posted June 26, 2008 Report Posted June 26, 2008 (edited) Congratulations, I just bought a gen 222080 and I wear my 2254.50 oldd factory rep everyday, I really like that watch. Wear it well and keep it this time... Edited June 26, 2008 by antomarty
b16a2 Posted June 26, 2008 Report Posted June 26, 2008 Nice purchase, as an owner of an SMP too, I concur that for the money it is one of the best (if not the best) watch that you can buy in the second hand market!

pilotwatch Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 I'll post a few of my gen pics while we wait...
By-Tor Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 I agree, this is a great watch. And even better value now that Omega has raised its prices so dramatically.
Greystash Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 Yep, thats the one. A very cool and understated design that will only appreciate in value.
capice Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 Congrats ,really great piece, jealous all over here , I bought a 2599.8 a few weeks ago
pilotwatch Posted July 8, 2008 Report Posted July 8, 2008 I agree, this is a great watch. And even better value now that Omega has raised its prices so dramatically. I bought this one back in February right before one of the price increases. Part of me flinches at the thought of the amount paid but I got a good deal (over 30% off) and with the recent increases it's looking a little better each day. Just have to wait another 3 weeks to wear it. It's my watch for the wedding and I don't want to have anything happen to it before then.
