New York City Summer GTG: August 25th

New York City - Summer GTG

Dear All,

It might sound weird that a European member post such a thread.

But, I love New York and would really be happy to come again in August.

I plan my trip with a couple of friends from my country, but they still didn't give their final "ok".

I would be in NYC one the following weeks:

- From Monday 18 till Saturday 22/23.

- From Monday 25 till Saturday 29/30.

If I commit to be there, I will be there by the way.

This is not just a fantasy, I mean it.

We could have a wrist shot session together

What do you think?

EU and AUS members could mix a GTG and a touristic stay in one of the most fantastic city of the world, if not the city.

Locals could meet some new members.

Interestingly, I have plans to be in New York from the 24th to the 30th... Would you allow a SoCal guy to join in the festivities??? I would love to meet some of you EU and East Coast guys!

Idealy the GTG itself should be planned between the monday and friday of those two weeks in August.

I narrowed the dates due to non available planes anymore!

There are few possibilities so I need to decide and book in the end.

I'll have to do that today or tomorow at the latest.

I'll land on monday august 25th (noon) and return on friday 29th (6PM).

I'm a newbie and a local. Is anyone going to bring any watches they intend to sell? I only own one rep at the time and would love to use this GTG as an opportunity to expand my collection.

With a couple days notice I'll hop on the Delta shuttle or if there are any other guys in the DC/VA/MD who want to drive up, we can drive up in a brand spanking new Navigator, or even ride the bullet train together.

Unfortunately I've sold off all my collection except for 2...so I'll be taking donations at the GTG...

Good food & good liquor is a must! Can't disappoint the out of towners...

So far we have a great local friend (my favourite NYC guide ) who's available almost everyday to meet everyone: Jetsons

Also confirmed is JoJo35 and Vlydog.

Vlydog is available on monday 25th ONLY.

So, I suggest that the "main" GTG should be held on monday.

But, as I already said, I am more than happy to see you guys several times as is Jetsons too...

It can be for lunch, dinner, a drink or even for tourist activities for those who don't really know NYC.

Please PM me with your eMail details as I intend to create an eMail loop so that all are aware of others planning.

If you prefer, I can do this in blind CC

i went with fung wah from boston to nyc. very cheap and pretty fast. cant complain!
