Noob question !

Recommended Posts

OK, so I've been a Supporter of RWG since Nov 2006 and currently own around 25 reps - many of which have the Asian 7750 movement. However, I was wearing a couple of my 7750 powered reps last week (not at the same time !!) and noticed that when I stopped wearing them and the power reserve ran out, they had both stopped with the second hand at 57 seconds. Is this purely a coincidence or is there a technical/mechanical explanation? Can anyone enlighten me?

Thanks. :D

If your referring to the chrono center seconds hand being at 57 seconds, then that is totally normal...

What is the chrono seconds hand doing when it approaches "12" on the dial?

Therin lies your answer why it's stopping at this location, if the chrono is running as the watch unwinds, it will almost always stop at 57 seconds...

Who knows why?

interesting.. i guess i read the orginal post wrong.. ive also noticed that some of my reps always stop with the second hand in the same spot. But Ive never noticed that any of my a7750s stop at 57sec but i will keep an eye out just for fun. I just gave a couple of mine a shake so we'll see that happens in a couple hours.

@The Zigmeisterzuuuumba - When you have a minute, can you send me a quick PM? I lost your email addy and all my info in my laptop that blew up a few months ago. I;m using a diff email addy now too.. DoubleRedRolex@gmail.com.
